Elon Musk: on video they show how humans will be taken to Mars in the Starship
Starship.

Last Thursday, February 10, through a conference by Elon Musk held in Texas, the new updates of the Starship mission that tries to take the human to the red planet were revealed.

Through the promotional video you can see the images of what would be the first human settlement on Mars.

Elon Musk detailed that the key components of the ship are its reusable accessories. Upon reaching space, a part of the ship breaks off and returns to the space base on earth.

The director of Tesla and Neuralink, in his speech, assured that in millions of years life on earth will be extinct due to the growth of the sun.

This is Elon's main motivation to explore the possibilities of taking humanity to another planet.

Musk explained that the propulsion engine of the "Raptor 2" ship has a propulsion force of 230 tons of force, unlike Raptor 1, which only had 185 tons. In addition, he highlighted that the cost of Raptor 2 is almost half of what Raptor 1 cost.

The interspace company is confident that they can take off into space in 2022, and they have also assured that they will build a monthly rocket. On the other hand, the launch tower was built in a little over a year.

The station, called Stage Zero, is extremely complex just like Booster (the rocket) and ship (the ship)

This spacecraft will have a cargo capacity of up to 1,200 tons of materials, which will be used to build a self-sustaining city on the red planet.

The trip to Mars will last two years and takeoff will take place once the red planet has a specific point of proximity with respect to Earth.

This mission would be impossible to carry out with the Falcon 9 rocket, which is used to send Starklink satellites into space.

Starship's primary mission is to transport NASA astronauts to the moon to deploy the first human colony.

Air Force Approval

SpaceX is awaiting permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to launch the first StarShip mission.

As announced at the Musk conference, this request would be answered approximately in March.

Starship has two stages: a rocket and the added vehicle. In total, it has a length of 120 meters, 50 meters correspond to the ship and 70 to the transport system.

The ship uses water and carbon dioxide as a source of energy for propulsion, which allows it to reach great distances.

Elon Musk had announced Starship for the year 2025, however, the project was modified.

Through his Twitter account, Musk added that the huge size of the ship will be used to send large amounts of supply loads. Highlighting that it will be the first reusable space vehicle, the great difference between the ships of the past.

"It is the critical advance necessary to make interplanetary life," he concluded.
