Japan: Woman gives her son up for adoption after finding out who was the sperm donor
A 30-year-old woman from Japan's capital Tokyo gave her son up for adoption after discovering the sperm donor had offered a false identity.
While pregnant, she discovered that the biological father of her child had given false information about her marital status, studies and origin. Given this circumstance, the resident chose to hand him over for adoption.
The Japanese media outlet Tokyo Shinbun indicates that the woman has registered a lawsuit of 2.86 million dollars for emotional distress against the faker.
The man had pretended to be Japanese, when he is really of Chinese origin, he did not go to the university he mentioned, and he is not single either, as he had assured.
According to the legal adviser, the lady has begun to suffer from sleep disorders and the delivery of the baby for adoption has caused criticism against her.
Currently, the boy is in a child welfare center in Tokyo. Meanwhile, the last articulations of the plaintiff express that her right to choose for herself, the decision that a man be the father of her child, has been disregarded.
