Karol G will debut on Netflix with Sofía Vergara
The Colombian singer Karol G has shown her audience the great musical talent she possesses, after the harvest of many successes.
For this reason, she has decided to take another step in her artistic career and will begin an adventure in the acting world, especially in a new Netflix production.
The Colombian will make her debut as an actress in the new Netflix series 'Griselda', in which the story of Colombian drug trafficker Griselda Blanco will be told. Sofia Vergara will also be in this production.
Griselda was a Colombian businesswoman who was behind the most well-known cartels, until 2012, when she died.
This woman knew how to combine her charm and her savagery, becoming a devoted mother and an aggressive leader when it came to lucrative and dangerous businesses.
Karol G will be in charge of giving life to Carla, one of the mules that Griselda used to transport drugs to the United States.
To play this character, she took acting classes to give her a different perspective, which has helped her on stage as well.
Karol stated that this is a great role, as it has a real and sincere development of the character. She assured that this is a character that is evolving and what Carla does, she takes as a job, in addition to supporting her family.
This miniseries created by Netflix will consist of six episodes. The filming is already taking place, but so far they do not have a release date.
