Over 30 killed in arson at Kyoto Animation anime studio

Today, the tragic news of the death of more than 30 people was announced by a fire caused in the famous Japanese studio, Kyoto Animation. In addition, it has also been known that more than 40 people have been injured as a result of this eventuality experienced in the morning hours in this famous country.

The event occurred at 10:30 in the morning in Japanese local time. In this way, a 41-year-old individual spread a flammable liquid on the ground floor of the Kyoto Animation studio, followed by the word "die."

At the moment, the identity of the person who is attentive to the study and its employees is still unknown, although everything reflects that he was a fit for revenge or was executed for some personal reason towards the study or a member of it.

Moments before this event, the individual was found to buy more than 30 liters of gasoline, which he would later use to burn the entrance to the Kyoto Animation studio.

The individual was apprehended a few meters from the event, presenting certain burns on his body. For this reason, he was transferred to an emergency with official surveillance to be able to treat said burns and, later, to be able to treat the case together with that individual.

The reasons why such serious acts were carried out are still unknown, although the president of Kyoto Animation, Hideaki Hatta, pointed out that the studio had recently received several threatening messages from an anonymous person.

The burned-out office was Kyoto Animation studio 1, which was one of the first venues that the company opened. It is located in Kyoto, Japan.

In addition, they have also participated in the creation of anime series such as "Violet Evergarden" and "Sound! Euphonium".

For all these reasons, the news of the attack carried out at one of the Kyoto Animation headquarters has made the community of anime fans come together, through all social networks, to pay tribute to such an emblematic anime studio.
