Conmebol distributed a total of 70 million dollars in prizes for the participating teams. It is even 80% more than what was given in editions prior to 2015.

In a match that was not without controversy, Peru lost by 3 goals to 1 in the 2019 Copa América final. The silver medal secured 11 million dollars for the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF).

This amount was distributed gradually. The first amount was paid only for the fact of participating. Each South American team received 4 million dollars. When Peru qualified for the quarterfinals, they received an additional 2 million.

By beating Uruguay, the Andean team secured an additional income that would range between 3 and 7.5 million dollars, depending on its place on the podium.

The runner-up had a payment of 5 million recorded, which the FPF will receive, which gives the total of 11 million that is the owner of this note.

Brazil, as the undisputed champion, managed to win 13.5 million.
