Russia intensifies attacks on Ukraine after sinking of the Moskva ship
At least three air strikes were recorded in the capital
This Saturday the Russian army resumed with more force the attacks in several Ukrainian cities, including kyiv and Liev. Air raid sirens and explosions are heard in almost all regions of the country.
According to the Ukrainian authorities, at least three air strikes were recorded in the capital, while other Russian bombardments occurred in the east of the country.
This onslaught comes after last Thursday , Ukrainian troops attacked the Moskva missile ship, one of the most important in Russia, and sank in the Black Sea. This was announced by the Kremlin Defense Minister.
Since the attack, kyiv has claimed responsibility, however, Moscow said an explosion occurred on the boat while it was being towed in stormy seas. About 500 people were part of the crew and could not be rescued.
After this event, the spokesman for the Armed Forces in southern Ukraine assured that they are aware that the attacks will increase, since Russia will seek revenge for the loss of one of the most important warships of the Kremlin.
It should be noted that Moskva along with other ships participated in the blockade in the port of the city of Mariupol, one of the most devastated since the Russian invasion of Ukrainian soil began.
