The Russian government is seizing hundreds of commercial planes from foreign owners from companies like American and European leasing, yet another piece of evidence showing the problems due to the war with Ukraine.

President Putin signed a law on Monday that will allow Russian airlines the power to restrict rentals to foreign Russian companies. The objective of the law put in place this Monday is to be able to allow Russia to keep its planes that are rented abroad and to be able to rent them on domestic flights, this law also brings something bad, it will harm all foreign companies to be able to claim their planes, for a claim you must introduce yourself directly to the Russian government.
