This information was confirmed by Slack in a statement generated on its social networks. On Twitter, he pointed out that failures had been reported in various parts of the world, so they would be working to solve these problems as soon as possible:

We are receiving reports about problems with sending and uploading messages. Our team is handling the case, and we will report back once we have updates to share

Slack reported this failure directly on its official website, where you can see the status of the problem with its messaging. In the most recent update, they have reported that the fault had already been fixed in all parts of the world, so the problem would not have taken more than 1 hour to correct.

Even so, the problem presented in the Slack application affected thousands of companies, which organize and control various types of work activities through this medium. It should be remembered that there are more than 80 thousand companies affiliated with Slack, with more than 10 million active users on the platform.

Shares in Slack began to fall after flaws occurred in its messaging service. In this way, a drop of up to 2.6% was observed in what would be the New York Stock Exchange index. All this would put the reputation of said company at risk and, perhaps, affect the scale of business of the same.
