The National Police of Peru (PNP) captured the criminal gang called "Chuckys of friendship", dedicated to car theft.
The Peruvian police colonel, Walter Palomino Simo, indicated that the group of criminals stole a car on Monday afternoon in the District of Villa María del Triunfo.
By deploying a police operation, they managed to capture the criminals in a building in the Villa El Salvador district, in Lima.
The members of the band were identified as 23-year-old Jhon Polo Huaychani, alias "El Rosas", 27-year-old Hugo Joel Ramírez Paculia, alias "Piccoro", 25-year-old Alex Zamaro Pablo, known as "Cupido" and 21-yearsoldEstefano Rivas Magallanes , who calls himself “Shadow”.
They needed protection “from beyond”
In the house where the criminals were found, an altar for "Chucky" was found, with a doll of the character from the horror movies, which had two bullets in its shoes.
Additionally, the character was surrounded by toy cars, representing the stolen vehicles, and four candles, symbolizing each member of the group.
The general of the Lima Police Region, José Zapata, indicated that, "The superstition of juvenile delinquency and within their way of seeing the world, they needed protection from beyond."
The four subjects were transferred to the Pachacamac police station and will be prosecuted for the crime of aggravated robbery, in the criminal gang modality.
