In a macabre find, Russian influencer Yekaterina K was found inside a suitcase in her apartment. The young woman used her social networks to promote hair beauty care products and possible death threats were unknown.
The influencer used her Instagram account under the nickname @katti_iloves_life, which means Katti loves life and had more than 85 thousand followers. The police reported that the first inquiries indicate a possible femicide.
The search was carried out after the family failed to communicate with her, so they asked the owner of the apartment to investigate if she was at the scene. The man forcibly entered the family, and that's when he reported the incident.
The young Russian woman had a 52-year-old boyfriend who was the first to be investigated, but said that he did not know her whereabouts and that they had not had any kind of discussion recently.
However, security cameras captured the entrance of a businessman and former Yekaterina admirer to the building. In addition, he is now the main suspect after learning that he escaped from Russia a few hours after the murder.
Yekaterina has just left a relationship with another 32-year-old man, police said, without specifying whether it could be the man caught by security cameras.
