Turn your photo into a painting
AI Portrait Ars dethroned the FaceApp creating a site that turns your selfie into a true work of art. This site was created by researchers at MIT-IBM, the researchers used algorithms so that the site could reproduce photographs in artistic portraits.
How they did it? They loaded a database with many paintings ranging from Renaissance to contemporary art. They only seek to show users how beautiful art can be and have no other purposes, as they explain it in their privacy announcement.
"Your photos are sent to our servers to generate a portrait. We will not use your photo data for any other purpose, and we will delete it immediately," they mention.
This website becomes a FaceApp alternative, although it is not the same, and you can not do anything other than obtain a faithful copy of your photo turned into a work is great. However, if you want to replicate a photograph with a smile, the best thing is that you do not do it because usually the artists rarely painted someone smiling.
The site is currently under maintenance due to the high demand it generated, but they promise to return soon.
