Unusual: mother asks for justice for the death of her son who "only went out to steal"
The deceased assailant was nicknamed the “Tortolita”

The mother of a man who was murdered while robbing a bus in Guatemala, asks the authorities of Amatitlán, where the events occurred, for justice. The lady claimed that her son was good and "did not hurt anyone."

The incident happened last Saturday, March 26, when a confrontation with pistols was recorded, inside an urban truck that was circulating along kilometer 27 and covering the route to the Pacific in Amatitlán.

It all started when one of the users who was inside the transport unit, took out a firearm when he realized that they wanted to rob them and shot the two criminals who were carrying out the assault, resulting in mortally wounded Josué García, nicknamed "Tortolita", while the other criminal was arrested by police officers.

After the altercation, the mother of the deceased arrived at the scene to claim her son's body and also demand justice and punishment for the person responsible for his death, alleging that "he just went to work. He didn't mess with anyone," he said.

"He just went out to rob the buses, like every day, and they killed him," Josué García's mother said in tears. In addition, he reiterated his desire that justice be done and the full weight of the law fall against his son's aggressor.

"He just used his gun to scare people, but he never shot anyone."

The Guatemalan News Corporation reported the case of the outraged mother of the family, which generated different opinions on social networks, most of which repudiated the comments of the mother of "Tortolita".
