Wife of the Emir of Dubai asks the just protection for her and her daughter
Haya is a princess and one of the wives, the sixth to be exact, married since 2004 to the Emir of Dubai Mohammed bin Rached al-Maktoum, she who is in a dispute with her husband, in search of being able to prevent the forced marriage of one of his daughters who is still a minor.
The protection that the princess asks for, was requested from the British justice that seeks a restraining measure against the emir and the children of the couple this happened last Tuesday.
This man, who holds the position of Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and is one of the richest in the world, also requested that his children should return immediately to Dubai.
British law protects and does not allow forcibly marriages, much less under mistreatment and manipulation. It is stated that this process only involves the safety of their children, not divorce or separation of assets between those involved.
There have already been several cases of Emirati wives fleeing in search of protection either for themselves or their children, as they claim that they are subjected to perhaps unmentionable mistreatment in a trial, Haya is not the only one who has escaped.
During the sessions, several people came to the place with banners and messages against the Emir and classified him as "Sponsor of prostitution and slavery." It is hoped that the princess can be a key piece in recounting the abuses by the emir, since she is considered both a victim and a witness.
