Ingredients

  • 350 grams of pastry flour.

  • 125 grams of sugar.

  • 10 grams of vanilla flavored sugar.

  • Fruit jam.

This recipe will be ready in less than 1 hour, however you must give it 1 more hour so that they can be eaten.

1. The first thing is to remove the butter and keep it at room temperature to cream it with the help of an electric mixer.

2. When it has changed color add the icing sugar and vanilla flavored sugar along with a touch of salt. Beat a little to integrate everything.

3. While beating, add the egg white and fully integrate.

4. With the help of a trowel, add the flour until it forms a dough without lumps.

5. Divide into several portions and cover with transparent paper and wait for it to cool for 60 minutes.

6. When the cooling time is about to end, preheat the oven to 200 °C. Likewise, prepare some trays with kitchen paper or sulphured paper.

7. Scoop out the dough and roll out on a smooth surface. You can make a rolling pin or some cylindrical material so that you can stretch the dough more easily.

The desired thickness is about 2 millimeters. Also consider a round cutter with wavy edges or the like.

8. Cut the cookies with the large mold and with a smaller cutter cut the center of the cookie.

You must consider that we must use two covers, one whole for the base and another with the hole in the center.

9. Then, place these cookies on the tray and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

10. Take to the oven and try to place it in the middle, for 8 minutes or until they begin to brown.

11. At that point, remove from the oven and wait for them to cool on a preferable rack.

12. In a small pot, heat two tablespoons of jam. Next, apply a layer of jam over the whole cookies.
