Priscilla Sitienei, 99, returned to school and is now in the sixth grade of primary school. Enjoy your stone classroom in the Rift Valley area of Kenya. After a long time, the first people to support her return to education were her children.

Sitienei wears a gray dress and green sweater, her school uniform. Her classmates and her teacher are 80 years younger than her, but this is not an impediment to continue studying.

His return to school is to set a good example for his great-grandchildren and keep his dream of a professional career. His decision was made some time after his granddaughter dropped out of school because she became pregnant.

At that point, he asked his granddaughter if she had any balance left at school and after she said yes, Sitienei informed her that she would use it to start her classes.

She hoped her granddaughter would go back to school. However, she did not want to and her position was taken by Priscilla. On his school days, he ensures that he completes all required activities, including physical education assignments, despite not being able to jump like his peers.

The old woman assured in an interview that she wants to be a doctor, since years before she was a midwife.

In 2003, the Government of Kenya began to subsidize primary education. This decision allowed older people, who were unable to study when they were young, to achieve the goal of academic improvement.
