Former Nickelodeon teen star Amanda Bynes regained her independence after 9 years.

After starring in various scandals related to addictions, illicit substances and mental health problems, his life and financial decisions were under the control of his parents Rick Bynes and Lynn Organ, since 2013.

Roger Lund, judge of the Ventura County Superior Court in California, made the decision to revoke the guardianship at a hearing held in a court in the city of Oxnard, said David A. Esquibias, the actress's attorney.

In the court documents of the case, it indicates that, the court determined that it is no longer necessary and there are no grounds for the establishment of a conservatorship of the person.

The artist's legal representative was the one in charge of requesting a special request for the termination of the guardianship. This was done after proving that Bynes could now move on with his life, by achieving his vocation in fashion.

Also, her commitment to Paul Michael, her current partner whom she met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, has helped her a lot.

Esquibias told People magazine that Amanda wanted to end her guardianship and that she was sure she was much better. In addition, the actress was sure that the protection of the court was not necessary.
