On the one hand, BTS managed to be one of the most nominated artists of the whole night, having up to 4 awards won. These four categories were as follows: Choice International Artist, Choice Collaboration, Choice Summer Tour, and Choice Fandom. All this has made this K-pop group stand out in the spotlight of the entire world community, even more than they already had.

BLACKPINK was nominated for 4 categories, of which they managed to win the Choice Song: Group. For this reason, this would correspond to one of the first prizes that this recognized female group manages to achieve in international lands.

Lastly, Red Velvet managed to clinch the Choice Electronic / Dance Song award thanks to their collaboration with Ellie Goulding on Close to Me. All this would augur future launches of this renowned South Korean group on US soil.

The night was loaded with a variety of wild performances. This year, K-pop managed to make history with the participation of Monsta X on stage s. This renowned group was presented with what would be their first single in the United States, entitled WHO DO U LOVE?. The "performance" caused the ovation and debauchery among the entire audience of these awards.

In this way, the Teen Choice 2019 would mark history in the K-pop industry, all thanks to the large number of awards won by its artists and for the presentation of a K-pop group at said event. All this seems to indicate that successor awards of this magnitude will also group this South Korean genre that is so much to talk about today.
