Forbes magazine made its ranking of the highest paid artists in the world in 2019. To make these calculations, it has estimated earnings before taxes in the period from June 2018 to June 2019.

Their data estimated earnings before management fees were deducted, based on data provided by Nielsen, Pollstar, IMDB, and from interviews with industry experts and many of the celebrities.

Thus, BTS raised around 57 million dollars in the last year. The K-pop group is the only Korean group to make the list, which also features Taylor Swift and Kanye West.

BTS ranks 43rd on the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid artists in 2019

Like every year, Forbes magazine published the list of the highest paid celebrities in the world so far in 2019, and BTS gave the surprise by ranking number 43. This is the first time that the K-pop group has achieved a place in this ranking that is the most widespread internationally.

Much of these earnings made by BTS are due to their "Love Yourself" and "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" concert tours, held in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Also, other factors that allowed him to reach this position in the list of the highest paid of Forbes should be considered. These factors are his two films and the sale of his music. Their successful game 'BTS World' of these idols who are conquering the whole world with their art was also considered.

BTS stands for the group's real name, 'BangTan Sonyeondan', which is a western reading of the name in Korean (방탄소년단). The translation of these words into English is: 'Bulletproof Boy Scouts', which means “Bulletproof Boys”.
