And it is that a few years ago, while going to a supermarket in Canada, he saw a homeless man sitting outside, offered him money and he flatly refused, an action that immediately caught his attention.

After finishing her purchases, the man, whose name is Macauley Murchie, waited for her outside and offered to help her carry the bags to her car, which she thought was a nice gesture, Jasmine reported on her social networks.

The news portal The Mirror, detailed that both continued to see each other and established a friendship that over the years turned into love and today they are happily married with two children.

Although this happened a couple of years ago, the unusual story became known because Jasmine recently recounted her surprising story on her Tik Tok account, which generated thousands of likes and the news quickly went viral.

"I met a homeless man one day doing my food shopping. I offered him money, but he didn't accept it. I went in and continued doing my things, but I couldn't stop thinking about him," the woman said in one of her stories.

After receiving the help, Jasmine invited him to dinner and he somewhat embarrassedly accepted. At lunch they got to know each other better and a few days later she decided to buy him a cell phone to keep in touch. "There was something different about him. I got him a hotel and went home, but we kept in touch," he said.

The young woman assured that he also felt the same, therefore, it was love at first sight, "I knew he was the one for me," he said.

Grogan said Macauley's life changed significantly. He shaved off his beard, got a dental implant, and got a steady job; From there they were inseparable.

Over time, the former homeless man proposed to Jasmine, she accepted and they now enjoy a family with two children.

The couple assured that they are very happy that their paths have crossed. "We believe that everything happens for a reason," the woman concluded.
