Farruko receives an award for Urban Excellence at Premios Lo Nuestro 2022
The artist is experiencing a transformation in his life and hopes to show his best version.
The night of the Premios Lo Nuestro 2022 celebration was very emotional, since the great stars of Latin music gathered at this gala to pay tribute to the late Vicente Fernández, in addition to offering special recognition to Farruko.
A few days ago, the singer declared at a concert how sorry he is for creating the song " Pepas " and apologized to the public with an emotional message, indicating that he is now accompanied by God.
On his Instagram profile, the singer replied to one of his angry followers because he had paid the ticket to see Farruko and not Carlos (this is his real name). The winner replied that Carlos is here now because Farru has already decided to retire.
The night of the event, he shared the stage with Daniel Habif, to sing the song 'Ki', 'El Incomprendido' and 'Gracias' together with O'Neill and Pedro Capó.
After more than 15 years of experience, the singer received the Urban Excellence Award from Premios Lo Nuestro.
Farruko assured that this is not a farewell, it is simply a transition in his life. He added that he hopes to show his audience the best version of Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado.
His four children went on stage to proceed to present the award to his father, who could not contain the tears generated by the moment.
At that moment he declared with tears in his eyes that he felt great and glorious and that he did not grab the prize because the prize really belongs to those who gave it to him.
In his speech he said that he was very grateful for this recognition and that he is grateful for the love received for all these years and for feeding his family. In addition, he assured that he will not forget the beautiful moments.
Due to the fact that the young urban artist, Ankhal, was shot in a bullet in Puerto Rico and due to the current world situation of the war between Russia and Ukraine, Farruko offered some words of encouragement:
"Love your neighbor, love your enemy, forgive and be forgiven, and have mercy on others. God bless you, I love you. Blessing and thank you."
