Kim Jong Woon "Yesung" is a vocalist for the KPOP band Super Junior. Yesung was born on August 24, 1984, therefore, he is turning 35 years old. The South Korean singer has been doing solo activities in recent years, but remains active in Super Junior.

Since 2005 he has been active in music, but also in radio and television programs. The group's first debut album was SuperJunior05 with which they managed to be top 3 in the MIAK ranking of K-POP.

However, things began to improve only in 2006 with the single "U", which also remained one of the most recognized singles for the next three years, until the premiere of "Sorry, Sorry" in 2009, which I move the previous version to a second place. Although it should be noted that the album Don't Don, recorded in 2007, is the best version so far due to its large number of sales.

Yesung during the period 2006 – 2007 emitted his own program called MIRACLE, but without moving away from Super Junior, since it was frequent that his friends were the guests of the program. Although the show was a success, it was decided to continue only concentrating on Super Junior for the recording of the group's best-selling album.

Yesung maintains a friendship with Sungmin, Shindong, Leeteuk, Kangin, and Eunhyuk, who over the past decade separated from Super Junior or pursued their solo career, however, they have not lost contact since then.

Something to highlight about Yesung was his military service, because during 2013 to 2015 he stayed away from the artistic world while he was serving in the military. During these years of service, Yesung participated in films such as Super Show 4 3D and SMTown The Stage, while in 2015 he appeared on AWL, as Hwang Jun-Chul on television.

On social media they congratulated him with the hashtag #HappyYesungDay and several international artists expressed their love for the singer.
