YouTube wants to be more like Tik Tok and this new feature confirms it
YouTube tries to imitate Tik Tok again.

Video platforms have become more and more popular in recent years and one of the most popular of them all is Tik Tok. That is why many other platforms are trying to imitate its features to attract users.

A few days ago, a new feature was announced that will include the platform and that you are probably familiar with. Below, we are going to briefly tell you what it is about.

A new callsign for live broadcasts

This new feature is aimed at live.

This "new" feature that the platform has announced is a hallmark for channels that broadcast live. That is, now when a channel is broadcasting live, a circle will appear around the profile picture.

Exmaple of this new feature on YouTube.

Obviously, this is not something new and we have already seen this in applications such as Instagram or Tik Tok. So this, although it is a feature that YouTube was missing, it could not be considered as a great "new" either.

Of course, YouTube has given it a distinctive touch so that it does not look like a simple copy, but apparently the color and the information displayed can be changed. At the moment it is not known if it will be something predefined or if the youtuber will be able to modify it at will.

Youtube tries to attract users to its platform

This is not the first time that YouTube has copied a feature from its competitors.

This is not the first time that YouTube has tried to make its platform more enjoyable for users. On other occasions we have seen how functions that were popular on other platforms have been added.

An example of this was the implementation of short videos, something that Tik Tok already had and that was extremely popular. That is why this can be a startegy to keep users engaged.
