Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace tie in the Premier day
The seagulls achieved the deserved tie in the end

This Friday, Brighton & Hove Albion drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on matchday 22 of the Premier League. The locals dominated the game in all aspects, but it was not enough to win.

The Amex Stadium was the stage where this match was played. The Seagulls attacked from the start, however goalkeeper Jack Butland stopped almost everything, until a penalty taken by Pascal Gross in the 38th minute.

VAR made an appearance when it disallowed a Neal Maupay goal, noting that the goalkeeper already had both hands on the ball before the shot on goal took place.

In the second half the goals would come. The first would be scored by Conor Gallagher in the 69th minute, when he sent a ball to the corner of the goal, right in the place that no one could stop.

With three minutes remaining in regulation time, the draw would come. Maupay, in a speedy attack from the left, made a cross to the goalie that Danish defender Joachim Andersen would end up pushing into his own goal by mistake.

With this tie, Brighton & Hove Albion has 28 points and is in eighth position, while Crystal Palace has 24 and is in eleventh place.
