Very recently, the Chinese company Huawei, has presented in Madrid its two new models, the Huawei Nova 9 and the Huawei Nova 8i. These teams come to compete in the mid-range and have quite interesting features.

If you want to know more about these two devices, stay with us, as we are going to tell you all about them.

What happened to HarmonyOS?

Despite what many speculated, these two computers will not come with the company's operating system, HamonyOS. If not, Huawei has chosen to include Android 11 with its EMUI 12 customization layer in these devices.

Many expected Huawei to present its own software on these devices, however, we will have to keep waiting. It is not known with certainty why the company made this decision, however, we hope that in the next models we can see Harmony OS.

From the nova family

Huawei wants to boost the nova family with this new device that promises a lot. This is a team that is aimed mainly at the youngest, since it is a team with its own fresh personality. In addition, one of the things that the company has paid special attention to is the photographic aspect.

Next, we will talk about its main characteristics, so that you can verify that it is a device that is worth purchasing.

Huawei Nova 9

This new Huawei Nova 9 will be powered by the already known Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. Which has proven to be an excellent processor for mid-range computers.

The processor will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. If it seems little, you can expand it up to 256 GB with the help of an SD card.

Photographic section

This section is where this team stands out, and it has 4 cameras. The main sensor is a 50 MP one with a 1.9 RYYB focal aperture, and it is a sensor that will give you very good results in any condition.

We will also find a camera with an ultra-wide angle of 8 MP and a focal aperture of 2.2. And finally, we have a depth sensor and a macro sensor, which will also give very good results.

All these sensors will be powered by a fairly powerful artificial intelligence that will help you take the best possible photos. As usual, Huawei offers us the best in photography.

But it does not end there, but you will also find a front camera with 25 MP and that has stabilization and the ability to record videos up to 4K.

Another thing we have is its screen, which is an OLED that has "edge" type sides, which makes better use of its 6.57-inch screen. Additionally, we have to have a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This means that it can go from 60 to 120 Hz depending on the needs of the terminal.

In the battery section, we have to include some other quite interesting news. This equipment includes a 4,300 mAh battery, and it may seem small to you, when batteries of at least 5,000 mAh have become "standard".

However, to complement this, Huawei has presented its new SuperCharge technology in this new Nova 9. This new fast charge of up to 66 watts, will allow you to charge your equipment in just 38 minutes.

This is even capable of reaching 60% charge in just about 15 minutes, so you will not have to spend too much time charging the equipment.

This new team will be available on November 2 and will have a price of 499 euros. However, the company has enabled a pre-purchase that starts from today and when you do it, the company will give you FreeBuds Pro.

High-end device

The other device that has been presented this day has been the HuaweiNova 8i harga.

This is a much more modest device, especially after having known the characteristics of the Nova 9. However, it is still a fairly compliant team and that can come to remind you a lot of the Mate 40.

Next, we will also talk to you about the main characteristics of this new device that is still interesting.

Huawei Nova 8i

This device comes with the not inconsiderable Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, a processor that we are also familiar with and that offers quite good performance. Additionally, it includes a total of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, in the same way, expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card.

Photographic section

As for the photo section, we have four sensors, the main one is 64 MP, it also includes an 8 MP wide angle and two sensors for depth and macro, both 2 MP. With this combination, this new mobile device guarantees that you will be able to obtain very good results when it comes to photography. Even in the harshest conditions.

It has a more modest screen, but keeps the same size. The panel will be 6.67-inch IPS with FullHD + resolution, so you will not have to worry, since the image and sharpness will be perfect. Of course, in this device you will not have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but you will only have 60 Hz.

As for the battery, we have a similar to that of the Nova 9, that is, a 4,300 mAh battery. Additionally, it includes the same 66W super-fast charging technology that promises to charge the battery in just over half an hour. So this is a huge plus point for this device.

As expected, this team will have a slightly lower price than the Nova 9 and will be located at 349 euros, which makes it ideal for those who want a good mobile with an affordable price.

In the same way, it will be available on November 2, but from now on you can sign up for the pre-sale to be one of the first to have it.

Are these devices worth it?

Everything will depend on what you need it for, if you are looking for equipment for day to day, and you do not want to spend too much money, obviously they are fantastic equipment. In addition, for the price they have they are worth it, and you will have a team for several years and that will not fail.

Additionally, you have the guarantee of Huawei, a globally recognized brand in the manufacture of this type of device.

However, if what you are looking for is a computer that gives you maximum performance (for video games, for example) there are computers that can do much better, of course, paying a little more money.
