Amazon Prime Video will premiere "El Desafio: 11M" the Spanish docuseries

For this month of February, the platform decided that it was the right time to publish its great docuseries, “El Desafio: 11M”. This was the proposal that Amazon Prime Video announced in mid-January.

The series is inspired by the events that took place before and after one of the best-known attacks in Madrid. The creators of the series chose the date carefully so that it coincided precisely with the 18th anniversary of the Madrid terrorist attack.

Prime Video released the teaser for 'El Desafio: 11M'

The new preview of the docuseries, which tells the story of the Spanish terrorist group, is now available on the Amazon Prime Video platform. The events of this production follow the previous events that were exposed in the series that dealt with the terrorist acts of the ETA gang.

The teaser was released on February 3, 2022 by the directors of the company, and they also took the opportunity to publish the official synopsis of the series.

In the advance of "El Desafio: 11M" it can be seen that everything focuses on the vandalism of March 11, 2004 where 191 victims died in Madrid.

Those involved and surviving victims speak about details never before revealed.

That has been the massacre with the most victims in Spain in the 21st century and more than 300 professionals from the emergency area had to attend: police and medical personnel to provide support to society.

About the docuseries “El Desafio: 11M”

The series based on the great Madrid massacre will be directed by Carlos Agullo, who was in charge of coordinating the events of 2004, collecting all the unpublished material, recording tapes, videos and documents of the attack.

In addition, "El Desafio: 11M" will have the testimonies of the security personnel who fought against those involved in the attack, and also the ones of the victims who managed to survive: judges, lawyers, journalists and political leaders.

Producers in this format will implement special scenes to give each victim's testimony a unique approach.

The docuseries will consist of a 1st season that will be distributed in four episodes with a duration of 50 minutes each.

So far, this is the most anticipated documentary on the Amazon Prime Video platform, with more than 500,000 people waiting, according to teaser statistics.

“El Desafio: 11M” will premiere on March 11, 2022, commemorating the 18th anniversary. In addition, the first format of the installment called El Desafio: ETA, which explains the beginning of the sociopolitical conflict, is now available.
