The recharged adaptation of Rebelde, recently released on Netflix, attempts to reissue the achievement of the first series. After 17 years since the debut of the telenovela that launched Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Cristian Chávez, Dulce María, Maite Perroni and Christopher Uckermann to fame.

Despite the fact that it is very similar to the original series, it has some very striking modifications.

New version of Rebel

Another era of young challengers appears at Elite Way School. The famous Mexican school is run by Celina Ferrer Miter, one of the former students, who, as we remember, was a victim of bullying because of her overweight. Despite that, dear "Celi" has become a strong lady and shows that she is very compassionate towards young people.

Unlike the previous director, Gandía, the new boss has carried out a music program to promote skills among young people. To enter, students must initially pass a test.

At the beginning of the series, you can already see who the good guys and the enemies are. On the side of the good guys are Jana Cohen Gandía, Luka Colucci, Esteban and Dixon.

While in the group of bad guys are Emilia, Marcelo Colucci and Sebas.

Likewise, there is a character with the sole objective of terrorizing the new members who joined to be part of the school's musical group. This is how the beginning of the school year becomes a total disaster, which could get out of the hands of the new principal.

EWS

Celina Ferrer, new director of the school

The school abandoned its old name Elite Way School and is now known as EWS. Apparently, the character of the Colucci is transmitted. This time, it is not Mia, but Luka, her nephew who is dearer than her aunt. However, he did not inherit only his difficult character, but also his talent and his passion for music.

Regarding the LGTBIQ + community, it is no longer taboo, on the contrary, it is now an open topic in the series.

In addition to this, the daughter of the former EWS director, Pilar Gandía, has enrolled her daughter Jana in school.

It's worth seeing

Many of the viewers and fans of the original version were prepared to analyze the new characters and their roles.

After starting to see it, they were surprised that the previous performances are no longer part of this new group.

In EWS there are the same problems as those of the previous generation, in the case of Luka Colucci, it is very similar to that of his aunt Mia, who takes the attitudes of a divo, thanks to the flattery and affection of his father, who gives him expensive gifts, for their absence.

We currently have Sebastián, who is the son of a lady committed to government affairs.

Celina's role as director has been in charge of giving place to female empowerment, in addition to the presence of a trans tutor. Data that reflect the great change that occurred in the exclusive school.

Music is no longer considered an expression of rebellion. Now it is quite the opposite, thanks to Celina, as she helps the students on their musical path professionally.

Unexpectedly, the first speech of the year was to inform a battle of the bands, taking into account that there are much more important issues such as school materials, rules of coexistence, etc.
