A couple of hours ago, screenwriter Steve Martin and director Madeleine George confirmed on their social networks the renewal of the murder story.

Steve Martin, during an interview with Variety, stated that in the second season of " Only murders in the building" they will continue with the deep story behind Kono. But with an unexpected twist that will shock all viewers.
“Following the shocking death of Arconia's neighborhood council president, Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver and Mabel are forced to unmask the killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications arise.”
"The trio is publicly implicated in Bunny's murder, this being the central theme of a competing podcast and, in addition, they have to deal with a group of New York residents who believe that they are the ones who committed the murder," he said. Martin during his interview.
Release date
The new episodes of season 2 will be distributed in two parts. The first will be available from June 28, and the rest of the episodes premiere on July 10 on Disney +.
