The streaming platform Disney + reported today that the story of “Champeta, the rhythm of the Earth”, another series of "Disney + Original Productions", is currently in the recording phase.

The plot of the series
This adventure revolves around two young people who fall in love moving to the rhythm of the champeta on the roads of the Colombian Caribbean; and they discover that through dance they awaken celestial powers to save Earth from a dangerous danger of obliteration.
The new series follows Duma (de la Hoz) and Fatimah (Trujillo), a boy and a young woman who come from totally different universes and experience passionate feelings for moving the champeta on the roads of Barrio de la Bahía, in the Colombian Caribbean.
Elías (Moreno) also lives there, a disconcerting old man who knows the powers of this local musicality. At the moment when the feet of Duma and Fatima caress the ground to the sound of the champeta, they stir up the genealogical force of the Earth.
The same one that has chosen them to protect her from the evil powers of the evil forces.
Little by little Duma and Fátima will promote their celestial powers together and, together with their companions, they will use them to save the Bahia Quarter, the city and the Earth in general.
