The extreme pineapple diet is about consuming only pineapple for three days. However, there are variants that consist of combining the fruit with animal proteins. Also, they can be combined with cereals, which is the most recommended for a complete and healthy diet.

The general recommendation is that the hypocaloric diet should not be less than a thousand calories a day. This implies that the calorie intake of each meal of the day must be 100 grams of each.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of chopped pineapple.

  • A cup of pineapple juice without sugar.

  • One cup or 240 ml of yogurt.

  • 90 grams or 6 tablespoons of condensed milk (You can substitute honey).

Steps for the elaboration:

  1. Add all the ingredients listed above into the blender and turn it on to start blending. Let the ingredients blend completely to your desired consistency. However, it excludes pineapple chunks.

  2. Pour the juice into the molds, followed by the pineapple chunks. Then, take the molds to the freezer.

  3. After an hour, that is, when the juice hardens a bit, insert the toothpicks. Later, let the contents of the molds freeze for 3 more hours.

  4. When the popsicles are frozen, unmold using a little warm water, serve and enjoy.

  • A large pineapple.

  • 30 centiliters of water.

  • A liter of pineapple juice.

  • 100 grams of sugar.

Steps for its preparation:

  1. Peel the pineapple and cut it into slices about a centimeter thick.

  2. Dissolve the sugar in the water and bring it to a boil, letting it cook on the stove after this for 2 minutes, in order to turn it into syrup.

  3. Add the pineapple juice to the syrup and if you like, just a little rum to provide a different touch. Then mix and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Pass the pineapple slices through the syrup and place them on the griddle to cook them for 5 minutes on each side.

  5. Finally, serve the pineapple slices with the sauce on top.

Chicken with light pineapple

Ingredients:

  • One kilogram of chopped chicken.

  • Salt and ground white pepper to taste.

  • 500 milliliters of pineapple juice.

  • Extra virgin olive oil, necessary amount.

  • 350 grams of pineapple.

  • Two tablespoons of wheat flour.

  • One medium onion.

Steps for the elaboration:

  1. Chop the onion and pineapple and reserve.

  2. Season the chicken cut into pieces.

  3. Place a saucepan over medium heat on the stove and add enough olive oil. When the olive oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry for a few minutes until golden brown. Once ready, reserve.

  4. In the same pan where you fried the chicken pieces, add the chopped onion and sprinkle a little salt on top. Let them sauté for about 10 minutes.

  5. Once this time has passed, add the tablespoons of flour, and then let everything cook for 2 more minutes.

  6. After the first minute, pour in the pineapple juice and fried chicken pieces, along with any juices released.

  7. Let the contents of the pot cook for 6 minutes over medium heat.

  8. In the last three minutes, add the pineapple chunks and cook for the remaining minutes.

  9. If you think it's still a little undercooked, lower the heat to medium low and let them cook for a couple more minutes until the sauce is as thick as you like.

  10. Finally, serve while it's still hot with the contour of your preference.

Contraindications of the pineapple diet and tips so that it does not affect your health

The pineapple diet is a bit delicate and should not be carried out by anyone. In fact, it is not recommended to be followed by children, pregnant or lactating women, or by those who suffer from specific pathologies.

Another essential recommendation is that it should not be extended for more than 3 or 4 days. This is because with this diet the body is deprived of essential nutrients for its proper functioning.
