Ingredients

  • 300 grams of flour.

  • 30 grams ointment butter.

  • 50 grams brown sugar.

  • 1 small spoonful of vanilla essence.

  • 1 egg.

  • 3 tablespoons of white wine.

  • 1 small spoonful of cinnamon.

For the filling

  • Frying oil

  • 500 grams of ricotta.

  • Sugar.

  • 100 grams of dark chocolate.

  • 1 egg.

  • 60 grams of nuts.

  • 1 small tablespoon of water.

  • 60 grams of cherries.

  • 1 small spoonful of vanilla essence.

Preparation of cannolis for snack

For the mass

  1. Mix the sugar and butter until you create a uniform mixture.

  2. Then add the egg, salt, cinnamon, wine and vanilla essence.

  3. Mix until you create an even preparation.

  4. Now, add the flour with an enveloping movement. When they are well mixed, wait for it to rest for 20 minutes.

  5. While the dough is ready, let's prepare the filling.

  6. Mix the ricotta and chocolate.

  7. Then add the walnuts, the cherries, the vanilla, the walnuts and the orange blossom water.

  8. One of the great variants is the filling, you can use peanuts, almonds, and other types of nuts. You can even apply other types of fruit to make various interesting fillings to suit your guests.

  9. Wait for it to cool down after mixing completely.

To assemble the cannolis

  1. When the dough has taken the necessary time, we stretch the dough on a floured surface.

  2. We cut into small squares.

  3. With the help of a cylinder we join two opposite ends. And add with beaten egg.

  4. Place oil in a frying pan to fry the cannolis. Before adding them make sure the oil is hot and that they are not touching each other.

  5. Every once in a while, flip them over, so they brown on all sides.

  6. When ready, we take it to an absorbent paper and wait for it to cool down.

  7. Very carefully unmold the cannolis, as they tend to break easily.

  8. When they are completely cold, we fill them with the prepared cream of ricotta and cherries that is in the sleeve.

  9. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle a little sugar. And good appetite!
