  • In a bowl we place the flour, the spices, the cocoa together with the yeast and the salt.
  • Sift the icing sugar and combine all the dry ingredients.

  • Add the marzipan, chopped into small pieces.
  • Integrate the orange, the previously beaten egg and the butter.
  • It ties everything together very well. This will give you an even, moist, and smooth dough.
  • Take out two portions, to transform them into discs.
  • Then wrap in transparent paper. Take it to the fridge and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
  • Roll out the dough for one of the threads with a rolling pin, until it is about 3 millimeters thick.
  • Use pasta cutters in the shape of stars, trees, canes, etc. Make sure they are a good size.
  • Cut until the dough is finished. You can use one part first and the other part later.
  • Don't forget to put a layer of parchment paper on the trays.
  • Take the cookies to a tray that will then go to the oven. Wait 12 minutes, in this time the edges of the cookies should turn a golden color.
