Ingredients

For the cake

  • 150 grams of flour.

  • 4 eggs

  • 150 grams of white sugar.

For the filling

  • 30 grams of butter.

  • 1 pinch of salt.

  • 80 milliliters of tangerine sumo.

  • 6 mandarin segments.

  • 2 eggs

  • 125 grams of white sugar.

  • 15 grams of cornmeal.

For the decoration

  • Vanilla essence.

  • 200 grams of icing sugar.

  • 25 milliliters of milk.

  • 80 grams of butter.

  • Chocolate stars.

  • Anise in caramel.

For the cake

  1. Beat the eggs with an electric mixer until the egg increases in size.

  2. Now, we add the sugar little by little and continue beating.

  3. When the mixture has changed color to white, add the flour little by little, beating at low speed, so that the air in the egg remains.

  4. Take a tray and cover with parchment paper. Now, pour the mixture into the tray and with the help of a spatula spread the dough.

  5. Preheat the oven to 180 °C take the cake to the oven and wait 15 minutes for the cake to be made.

  6. At the end of the time, remove the tray from the oven and remove the cake on a kitchen towel and roll it until cool.
