  1. With the help of a strainer, sift the flour and salt into a bowl with the salt.

  2. Add the water little by little and help yourself with your hands to mix.

  3. When you have obtained a uniform dough without lumps, it is time to cover and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  4. At the end of the time, add flour to the flat surface where you are going to work and with a rolling pin, spread it to form a rectangle.

  5. In the center of the dough, place the margarine and cover as if it were an envelope.

  6. With the rolling pin, flatten again in all four directions so that the butter spreads well throughout the dough.

  7. Keep stretching until you reach the thickness of at least 1 centimeter.

  8. At this point fold all 4 edges and fold in half and then to the other half.

  9. Now, we cover with transparent paper and take to the fridge for 1 hour to take texture.

This folding process must be repeated about 5 times before starting, so we must be patient.

With the vegan puff pastry ready, it's time to move on.

  1. Take the dough out of the fridge and roll out until you get a rectangle about 5 millimeters thick.
