Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson will star in a Christmas comedy
Amazon Studio will produce the new film from Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson, which is expected to start shooting this year.
For now, it looks like we won't be seeing Evans don Captain America's colors again, at least anytime soon. This, in view of the multiple rumors that suggested a possible return of the actor to the Marvel universe.

Two of the most recognized actors in Hollywood will team up in a new production by Amazon Studios.
Such is the case of Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson, known as “The Rock”. It should be added that the latter is perhaps the best paid actor, due to his large volume of shares.
On the other hand, Chris Evans, comes from a brief participation in "Don't look up", which turned out to be one of the most watched movies on Netflix.
Now, his participation in a new installment that will be known as “Red One” has been confirmed.

Rumors indicate that the new film starring Evans and "The Rock" would be a Christmas comedy. In addition, it would also have a dose of action to make the title much more entertaining.
On the other hand, in addition to confirming the stellar performances of these two actors, it will also be directed by Jake Kasdan. The latter, popular for his work on the two modern installments of Jumanji.
The writing of the script will be in charge of Chris Morgan, who already has experience in action titles, such as “Fast and Furious 8”.
Recordings are expected to begin in the middle or end of this year, taking into account the schedule that both actors have. Therefore, approximately by the end of 2023 it is estimated that the film should be ready for release.

On the other side of the coin we have Evans, who will reunite with the Russo brothers in a project for Netflix called "The Gray Man". Also, he will be part of the voice cast in the new “Buzz Lightyear” movie, where he will be the voice of the intergalactic toy.
Other of his roles that more information is expected is his interpretation of Gene Kelly, which will be a biopic for the big screen. He also has projects with Apple TV + for a title called "Ghosted", in which he will share a cast again with Scarlett Johansson.
