New trailer for The Witcher on Netflix
The official premiere will be on December 20, 2019 and those attending the comics and games convention in Lucca, Italy, were the first to receive a new trailer for the upcoming Netflix series "The Witcher".
Synopsis The Witcher
Based on the tales by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski about Geralt of Rivia, a warlock or monster slayer for years who have been training in combat and magic for years. "The Witcher" promises to lead viewers into a dark fantasy world filled with political conflict as humans, elves, witches, gnomes and monsters battle for control of a nameless land.
The franchise comes thanks to the extremely popular video game trilogy The Witcher, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The trilogy of games has managed to sell more than 33 million original copies and a higher number is estimated in pirated copies. That is, The Witcher has been on more than 100 million computers making it one of the most played games in history.
The cast of Henry Cavill, best known for his portrayal of Superman, was somewhat controversial, but the new video suggests there might be no reason to worry.
Of course, we will have to wait until next December 20, 2019 for the premiere. So far, it is believed to be one of the best Netflix productions and some believe it will surpass Game of Thrones.
Henry Cavill will be the protagonist of this story, which already has us all waiting for its premiere.
