A plea from a Guatemalan mother to allow her to cross to the US with her son
After a long journey that she made, where their lives are put at risk in search of a better future and better opportunities, a mother undertakes with her son. A trip that does not assure you of anything you dream of but still trying to achieve your dream.
Lety Pérez, a Guatemalan mother, arrives at the National Guard on the border between Mexico and the United States in the city of Juárez, but to her surprise they deny her passage. The woman holding hands with her son Anthony cries desperately as she tries to get through, but nevertheless cannot be granted permission.
Undoubtedly, it is increasingly difficult to achieve passage in the border area, however the arrests of migrants at the US border have undoubtedly decreased after the measures that Mexico took to prevent this from continuing to occur.
