Indonesia is a severely strict country when it comes to being kept for marriage and whoever does not assume this law and is caught having sexual relations with their partner before marriage is subjected to severe punishments by the leaders of the place.
This is the case of a 22-year-old woman and her partner who were whipped in public for being caught having premarital sex, it should be noted that this is a serious crime due to the 'sharia' and Islamic law, in force in the province of Aceh, in the north of the island of Sumatra.
This punishment took place in a stadium in the city of Lhokseumawe, in front of a crowd of people who were spectators of the event.
Each one received 100 lashes from their executioner and the young woman was the one who suffered the most with the punishment because she repeatedly asked for them to be stopped, she also had to be reviewed by a doctor to continue with the punishment.
In addition to them, a 19-year-old young man was also punished because he apparently had sexual relations with a minor, in addition to being whipped, he will have to serve 5 years in prison.
In Aceh, he is punished for gambling, drinking alcohol, and premarital sex outside it and for having same-sex relationships. These practices are criticized by many because it is said that it violates human rights.
