Joe Biden announced that he will put free high-quality masks

This Thursday, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, announced the efforts that the administration is making to curb the increase in COVID-19 -19, due to the high numbers of the pandemic in recent weeks.

It has increased additional tests, strengthened medical support and increased the production of high-quality masks, which it will give away for free.

At the same time, Biden persisted in the vaccination process and in the booster; to give more security to your health.

He also asked the media to talk about the issue of Covid-19 and its security measures, in order to combat the spread of the pandemic.

He explained about the importance of the use of masks and announced that next week he will report new details on the subject of free high-quality mask, KN95 and N95.

This is what Biden said at the White House in a virtual briefing:

"Next week we're announcing how we're going to make high-quality masks available to the American people for free. I know we all want to get rid of masks once and for all. I get it, but they're a really important tool in stopping the spread", especially the highly transmissible omicron variant.

The president alleges that the use of a mask is a duty and responsibility of each person living in the United States, since wearing the mask in public places would reduce a percentage of infected people.

A statistic has pointed out that at least a third of Americans do not wear the mask in public places.

An additional 500 million tests will be purchased in addition to the 500 million free rapid tests, for a total of 1 billion tests.

Starting the week I came, the United States will put up a new website where each person can request a free trial, and they will be sent to their homes.

The administration will continue to increase testing centers that are run by the federal government, it will also send military medical personnel, with a total of more than 120 doctors in six hard-hit states, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Rhode Island.

Joe Biden last month released a statement stating his plans to mobilize 1,000 military doctors to support hospitals that are overwhelmed by the new omicron variant.

Biden's statement:

"These are just part of the first round of deployment, teams will continue to be mobilized and deployed where needed in the coming weeks to deal with omicron".
