Qatar 2022: 2,000 Latinos are requested to work in the World Cup
Organizers want cultural diversity among the event staff, for this, they must meet a series of requirements, the main language being English.
A few months before the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the country's international hotel chains are looking for hotel staff in different Latin American countries.
The countries that are on the list are: Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. The contracts they will offer will be between one and three years.
Currently, the organization has a plan to recruit new talent who have a good command of English in several areas. Their participation in this sporting event will be in different areas such as hotels, services, restaurants, among others.
Different companies in the country are aware that the World Cup will require the presence of diverse cultures, one of which is that of the American continent, presenting a wide variety at the gastronomic level.
The jobs available are 2,000. PHRS Hospitality Experts are in charge of recruiting and selecting staff.
The consulting director, Carlos Díaz, indicated that during the course of 2021 several workers of different nationalities were recruited.
Díaz commented that the searches began last year and so far have offered fruitful results for a large number of Latin Americans, since they were working in the world's most important hotel chains in Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Applicants must have the ability to listen to different languages at the same time, since they can get to live with people of up to 50 different nationalities, according to the experience of Carlos Díaz.
Díaz commented that lately there are gastronomic profiles from Latin America that are in high demand, such as those from Colombia, Argentina, Peru and other countries.
Applicants should consider that this formal job opportunity has contracts from one year to three.
The salary will depend on the position the person is applying for and their experience. The range is between 600 to 1,200 dollars per month. The costs of food, lodging, air tickets and transportation are covered by the contracting company.

This event is being planned since 2010, when Qatar got the hosting rights for the 2022 Soccer World Cup.
The event will take place from November 21 to December 18, 2022. This date is due to the fact that the weather in these months is more pleasant in Qatar (20 and 30 degrees), compared to June and July, when the temperature exceeds the 50 degrees.
The American magazine Sporting News assured that this will be a World Cup with only 28 days of competition, being the shortest since 1978. The last editions used to be 32 days.
