Unknown man bought 100 power generators and a food truck to help the Bahamas
The incident occurred at a Costco in Florida. A man bought 100 power generators and a food truck for about $50,000. This aid will be shipped from Jacksonville and headed for the Bahamas to help the victims.
Man-made food items include grains, cereals, coffee, salt, and other non-perishable foods.
So far it is known that he is a farmer, who interviewed with CNN who discovered the work of this man, but preferred to remain anonymous, which shows that there is a real interest in helping. I affirm that you do not want to be the center of attention and that if you want to help, you must contribute a little to the Bahamas.
The news was even known because someone overheard the farmer talking about the details of the generators and if they were what he was looking for. Also, I listen when you said that it would be 100 generators for the Bahamas and Abaco Islands. The man approached the farmer and thanked him, taking a picture of his back which is the only image we know of.
The truck is already underway and is expected to be in the Bahamas on Thursday. The delivery will be by Errol Thurston, a boat captain from the Bahamas who is a friend of the farmer. The aid will go to the captain's hometown, which suffered total destruction as a result of the hurricane.
For the moment, it only remains to hope that the aid will reach its destination soon. The waters are rough, there is a lot of debris that can hit the boats and there is always the risk of shipwreck. Bahamas increases the death toll as the hours pass and the figure approaches 70 thousand victims.
