Venezuelan song is chosen for Louis Vuitton campaign
Elaiza Romero's version of the song "For someone like you" appears in the luxurious shoes campaign.
The French company recognized for the creation of elegant bags and purses, Louis Vuitton, the Venezuelan song “For someone like you”, to set the music for its new advertising campaign.
This song was written by Claudio Gámez and Carlos Moreán, and features arrangements by Aldemaro Romero. The daughter of the same teacher Aldemaro Romero, Elaiza Romero, is the one who is in charge of interpreting the song.
The piece became a reference of pop in Venezuela in the 80s, after Ilan Chester released his version.
The song was recorded for the first time in 1970, by Los Darst. After two years, Elaiza Romero on her album “Mi Chiamo Elaiza”, was in charge of covering it into Italian. The arrangements for this version were made by his father Aldemaro.
There are other versions of this famous melody performed by Antonio Muñiz, and the former menudo, now CNN presenter, Xavier Serbiá.

Simón Díaz's daughter, Bettsimar Díaz, was in charge of announcing the use of the song, through her Instagram account. Díaz published the video in which the Italian model and blogger, Chiara Ferragni, 34, is the protagonist.
In the campaign video, Ferragni walks the streets of Milan in the brand's shoes.
