Cake filled with orange cream
Cakes usually have a vanilla and lemon flavor. Therefore, this time I bring you a cake with burnt orange cream, you can stop trying. It is very quick and easy to do.

This preparation is divided into two parts, the first which is the realization of the cake and the second with the filling and decoration.
For the cake
You will need for the preparation of the cake or cake:
300 grams of wheat flour,
100 grams of butter,
2 small spoons of baking powder.
250 grams of sugar,
¾ of milk rate
1 spoon of vanilla.
For the cream and decorated
You will require:
2 egg yolks,
1/2 cup of sugar,
2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
2 cups of orange juice
1 tablespoon of butter.
3 oranges sliced and
250 grams of sugar.
Preparation of the cake with orange cream
Start by creaming the sugar with the butter, whisking until the butter changes color and takes on a creamy texture. Now, add the yolks one by one and mix well.
Then, repeat the procedure with the flour and baking powder and alternating with a little milk so that it can take texture. In addition, beat the egg whites until stiff with 3 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla.
When they're done, add them to the main mix. To do this, use a wooden paddle or the mixer on its lowest speed. Once you have incorporated all the ingredients, it is time to take the cake to the oven.
In a greased and floured mold pour the mixture and bake for 30 minutes over medium heat. When the time is up, and you see that the cake is ready, let it cool a bit before unmolding.
At this point, unmold and slice in half, preserving the way it was cut. Now, it is time to make the filling.
Preparation of the filling
Mix the yolks with the sugar, adding the cornstarch and orange juice a little. When you have mixed everything, put it in a saucepan over moderate heat. Stir constantly until thickened.
At this point, remove from heat, and add the butter. Stir well until completely integrated and let cool to fill the cake.
Preparation of the scenery
For this decoration, take 3 oranges and slice them thinly. Place the slices in a pan together with the sugar and add a finger of water, let it cook and caramelize.
When you have finished you can place on the cake giving the shape you want along with the syrup that was left.

You can add a little orange zest to the dough. The more citrus the better. Although you should be careful if you plan to save it, as it can take a slightly bitter taste.

By incorporating the whites
Keep in mind that the idea is that the dough grows both from the baking powder and from the whites. For this to be possible, you must incorporate them with an enveloping movement without over mixing.
For the cream
Although the idea is that it thickens, it must also have the right texture so that it runs inside the cake. So when it is cooking, do not wait for it to be so thick while in heat, since when it cools it will be harder.
When cool, do not wait until it is completely cold, as the effect will be the same. It should be applied at the ideal point that the mixture can run so that it covers the inside of the cake with a good layer.
If the cake will not be consumed by children, you can add liquor to the cream or, failing that, add half a glass of liquor with sugar and dissolve as well as possible. When I have achieved it when opening the cake I added to both sides with a spoon.
This will make all the liquor spread out. Ideal is that while the cake is hot, since this way it will get everywhere if it will not be absorbed, but there may be places that it will not reach.
For the decoration
It is necessary that for the preparation let the orange boil a little, and thus it releases the juice. And that caramelised, in a syrup that can cover the cake, either on the top or on the sides as well.
It is up to your taste and creativity. You can cut the oranges in half or slice them whole. It will be a somewhat colorful cake.
