About 'The 2022 tour' by Alejandro Sanz

The Spanish singer-songwriter tried to start his world tour in 2020, however, his plans were frustrated after the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic.

Alejandro Sanz had to postpone his dates for these presentations until 2 years later, ' La gira ' returns again with presentations of his recent album 'El Alma Al Aire: 20 Aniversario'.

The award-winning artist offered new details about his next concerts during a virtual press conference.

Sanz stated that during his series of concerts he will be promoting the most iconic songs from his album published in 2020 and the classic singles that have accompanied him since the beginning of his career, such as: 'Amiga mía', 'No es lo misma' and ' Broken heart'.

The first show will be held at the Movistar Arena stadium, located in Bogotá, Colombia, scheduled for April 21, 2022. Marking the official comeback of ' La tour 2022 ', the pre-sale of the shows in Bogotá was announced in 3 April and tickets sold out in less than 1 week, achieving 20,000 sales at the Movistar Arena.

Alejandro Sanz made a statement through Twitter where he expressed his emotion and joy at getting back on stage after the postponement of 'La Gira':

“Today is a day of joy for us to be able to announce this tour postponed for 2 years. I want to thank those who kept their tickets for years, since many people are working on this project. I really want to get on stage because it's going to be a spectacular tour "
"Many changes are going to be introduced, we are still working on some. Now we are going on tour to Central America and we will be able to test it. I want it to be a musical journey of records and songs that I have not sung for a long time in addition to my new project. I want it to be a precious experience for the people", sentenced the artist via Twitter.

Where will America's next shows be?

Alejandro Sanz 's next shows scheduled for May will take place in Central America, starting in Panama and ending in Honduras. The new presentations will feature the surprise appearance of 'guest artists' depending on the region.
