'BLACKPINK' will make new collaboration with the video game 'Pubg Mobile'
The girlband ' BLACKPINK' made an official announcement through their social networks where they stated that they will be working with ' Pubg Mobile', for a new collaboration of the season.
The news has shocked the gamers of the franchise, who manifested themselves in the official account of the Idols, to get answers about the next designs of the outfits and special objects. This will be the second time that k-pop and gaming come together in 2022, after the collaboration of 'BTS' with 'Free Fire'.
The BLACKPINK band was working a couple of months ago on their recent album 'How you like that' which currently has more than 200 thousand views on YouTube and Spotify. Therefore, they are doing everything possible to reconnect with BLINK again, through a new collaboration for the gaming-loving fandom.
About the collaboration of 'BLACKPINk' and 'Pubg Mobile'
The alliance between BLACKPINK and the video game company was born from the successful collaboration of Bangtan a couple of months ago, which included new emojis, unique outfits designed by the members and special seasonal dances.
Therefore, the South Korean artists decided to be part of the new season of the video game.
The news was released along with some images with the new BLACKPINK accessories and the official preview of the collaboration, where the faces of the singers can be seen stamped on the iconic Pubg Mobile parachute.
The new union between both parties will be available in the coming weeks and will have new surprises for ARMY.
The South Korean agency ' YG Entertainment ' will be in charge of carrying out this new collaboration. The production house has been planning this alliance for more than 4 months, however, the video game company had not been able to finalize the negotiation, because the game was still repairing some errors.
Seasonal items designed by Lisa and Jennie
Through BLACKPINK's official Instagram account, extra information was revealed about the next project of the 'Playing with fire' singer-songwriters. Revealing that Lisa and Jennie will be in charge of carrying out the design of the new ones: weapons, parachutes, suits, accessories and complements of the new stage of Pubg Mobile.
'YG Entertainment' stated that the collaboration will bring more surprises that will be revealed every week, including a glimpse of each item during the group's Instagram lives.
The album 'How you like that' will be noticed, as it will be part of “BLACKPINK X Pubg Mobile”, which will include their 3 singles with the most recognition.
The new items by: Lisa and Jennie will be available in the Pubg Mobile sales shop and all items are VIP payouts. This means that they can cost anywhere from $2 to $100 per item.
The new collaboration between the K-pop female group and the video game for 'Android' and 'iOS' phones will take place from the first five days of June and will end at the end of the month.
