Carlos Baute tells who rejected the song 'Hanging in your hands'
Charles Baute

Carlos Baute waited fourteen years to be able to tell who the three singers were who rejected the opportunity to be his companion in the recording of the single ' Hanging in your hands '. This song finally had Marta Sánchez as a companion, it was a success.

In an interview on the Paraguayan television channel, TeleShow, the Venezuelan idol detailed who he had as possible companions for the single.

The first was an option for Italian singer Laura Pausini, who was also the first to decline the offer. This decision was because he had recently signed another hit song with James Blunt.

This same response was received from the Spanish Rosario Flores and Paulina Rubio. After this, he contacted Marta Sánchez and automatically accepted the proposal.

The pop star, in the interview, indicated that after all, he considers that, if he had recorded it with another artist, he would not have had the same success.

He is also pleased with this, since he did not edit any of the words in the original version either.

The theme, which was written four years before its premiere, is a real life story of a relationship that the singer lived nine years ago. However, that love no longer existed, according to Baute.

The edition of the letter had considered it, but in the end it was not realized. In this way it was recorded and entered the disc as I had written it.
