Momoland returned in style in collaboration with Natti Natasha
Momoland is a very successful K-pop group that has been inactive for over a year. But the wait for his fans was worth it.
A few days ago they released “Yummy Yummy Love”, a catchy song in which they join their voices for the first time with Natti Natasha.
It was a pleasant surprise, since these artists usually work on opposite sides of our planet. However, they managed to unite their talents and delight us with a work created in collaboration.
A vintage design
In the video clip, which already has millions of views on YouTube, we can see the six members of the girl band Momoland, accompanied by the interpreter of successful urban music songs, such as "Criminal", in a colorful track with an obvious design retro.
In the first 24 hours of its release, it reached more than 10 million views on the YouTube platform. So it's likely to become the most popular song this year.
The pink and blue neon lights, disco ball and other vintage-inspired details take us back to the days of parties on roller skates.
Video clip in english
The language used in the video is English, including the part that corresponds to Natti Natasha. That is not usual, since the reggaeton singer usually sings her verses in Spanish when she collaborates.
The Dominican singer plays with a phrase that includes the famous Hakuna Matata from the popular movie "The Lion King" as a sign that it is possible to combine an aggressive style with a lighter message.
K-pop idols are very excited to have worked with Natti Natasha
The members of Momoland are very happy and excited to have worked with Natti Natasha, and they talked a little about what their experience was like.
Hyebin commented that the singer participated in the recording of the song and was also very attentive to the recording of the music video, being a vital part of the entire process.
All of them are very grateful to her, as they managed to masterfully combine Momoland's style, which is fresh and vibrant, with the reggaetonera's characteristic sensual pop style.
How is the video clip?
This video clip is very special, the artists lived together for several days to record it.
Despite the distance and the difference in languages, it is evident that there is a great chemistry between them.
