Rapper Jay Z organizes a party every year to celebrate after the Oscars.
This celebration became one of the most special events of the night, since all the guests will be away from the cameras because they are completely prohibited.
The invitation to the event organized by the rapper and his wife Beyoncé, none of the artists rejects it as a general rule. However, this year it could change.
The location of the event will be the Chateau Marmont and some guests might reconsider the invitation to the party. This is because the Los Angeles hotel, chosen by the artists, has been subject to a Boycott since 2020, after approximately 250 employees were laid off at the start of the pandemic.
This dismissal was carried out without insurance or compensation, for which the protesters demand their right. In addition, there are accusations of racial discrimination and harassment against the management of the establishment, despite the fact that it has been denied on several occasions.
The workers of the hotel, which is located in West Hollywood, are being supported by the United Here Local 11 union. They asked Jay Z to support them, changing the location of the event so that he can calmly meet with his friends and acquaintances.
However, the rapper and his wife maintain the plans from the beginning, and continue to organize the event without any change.
