New update of the list of defaulters of the Treasury in football
As usual, the list of defaulters with the Treasury has been updated again by the Tax Agency, this time several important names have come to light.
It has also been seen that the criteria regarding these issues have been hardened.
After this new statement, it has become known that the limit situation of pending payments has been reinforced, as well as the penalties of the million euros that until now was at 600,000 euros.
These measures have been taken in order to try that debtors do not continue to increase.
And it is that with respect to the last years it has been possible to see a significant increase, something that has been presented more than anything in the last five years, a consequence that has led to take much stronger measures in all this.
Debtors with the Treasury increase
The tax entity has explained all this and why the taking of these new measures that are much stronger than those that were established, to which they have answered "a higher number of debtors have come forward this year and the debt has grown in comparison to previous years".
Other novelties that have been seen in this update is that this time the joint and several responsible have appeared and not only the main debtors as usual.
It has been seen that the new list of defaulters published includes 7,277 taxpayers, where there are natural and legal persons such as companies.
All this has caused an increase of more than 80% with respect to the list of defaulters that was published last year, exactly in June 2021. Therefore, a very significant increase has been registered that has forced to tighten the criteria already managed.
In this way, the total debt is located at 18,200 million euros, which passed from 14,100 million that had been registered in the last list, so it has increased more than 29%.
It has been announced that the total debtors in terms of individuals are 1,367, who have a debt of 2,081 million euros, while the largest debt is held by companies that are around 5,910 and who accumulate a debt to the treasury of 16,150 million euros.
The list includes the victims of the housing crises
It has also been possible to know with this publication of the Treasury, that in the list of defaulters are many of the victims of the real estate crisis of 2008. Where many construction companies, real estate companies and entrepreneurs who continue to have financial problems have appeared.
To all this, the Tax Agency has made a statement where it has exposed the following in relation to this whole issue that right now worries many of those involved and where important names in the world of football continue to appear.
"Of the total amount of the debt, which has been more than 7,200 million euros, which is estimated to be 40%, which corresponds to debtors' debts in bankruptcy process, they are debts affected through a process where the opportunities of collection in cash are very limited while the insolvency process lasts ".
Soccer big names on defaulters' list
Everything seems to indicate that soccer players and coaches do not want to stop being the news regarding the list of defaulters with the Treasury. Thus, in this latest update of the list, two important names have appeared, such as Samuel Etoo and Carlos Ancelotti.
Both characters have debt that exceeds 600,000 euros with the Treasury, in the case of Carlos Ancelotti, who is one of the best known figures in the world and current Real Madrid coach and who had already appeared on the list last year, has now appeared again with a much higher debt, this time of 1.4 million euros.
While Samuel Etoo, former soccer player and who is already retired from the fields and who had also appeared in previous listings has appeared with a new debt with the treasury that ranges from 800,795 euros to 981,598 euros currently.
However, these are not the only two names that have appeared in this latest update of the list, but also the Barcelona player Dani Alvez has said present, this is how the Brazilian right now has a debt of 2,088,979.57 euros.
The three of them are also joined by the former partner of Iñaki Urgangarín, Diego Torres with a debt of 956,000 euros, while the chef Sergi Arola owes the amount of 985,924 euros.
Likewise, the television collaborator Kiko Matamoros owes the treasury 711,000 euros, while the well-known businessman of discos and entertainment halls in Mallorca, Bartolomé Cursach owes 950,211 euros.
On the other hand, the Pullmantur transport company has also appeared on this list where they have shown a debt of 834,000 euros. While many others are above debts that exceed a million euros.
Some of the most recognized names in this debt of more than one million euros is the writer César Vidal, who has managed to reduce his debt by 559,000 euros, but still owes 2.6 million.
On the other hand, the former banker Mario Conde, has a debt of 7.8 million euros, where the Treasury has already collected 542,000 euros.
The television presenter Patricia Conde and the soap opera actress Paz Vega, have a debt that exceeds one million euros with the Treasury and who have also come to reduce in this new list of debtors.
