Loop LiquidCool: a new Xiaomi technology to dissipate heat
Recent Xiaomi introduced a new heat dissipation system called Loop LiquidCool, which is quite an interesting technology. It is inspired by heat sinks used in the aerospace industry.
In general, this technology is responsible for moving a cooling liquid towards the heat source, this vaporizes, making the area cool more efficiently. The condensation is captured in a channel and causes the whole process to continue in an endless loop.
What is this new technology about?
This Xiaomi heat dissipation system is made up of a system of pipes which includes an evaporator, a condenser, a filling chamber and gas and liquid pipes.
These are located in the main heat sources of the device.
When there is a large heat source, the system causes the refrigerant to evaporate and turn into a gas. The gas then passes through the condenser, where it returns to its liquid form.
This liquid passes through the filling chamber and ends up in the evaporator again to start a new cycle. All this makes the system completely self- sufficient.
Without a doubt, this is a technology that can make everything change, and allows processors to work much more efficiently, without overheating.
What use will this new technology have?
This type of technology will seek to create a new trend in mobile device cooling. This will allow for better cooling, which makes the performance much better.
The company is expected to start incorporating it on its mobile devices from the second half of 2022. Therefore, in a few months we will see Xiaomi devices with Loop LiquidCool technology.
How much can we expect from this technology?
As it has been known, thanks to the different tests that the company has carried out, the results are quite promising.
These tests were run on a Xiaomi MIX 4, in which the Genshin Impact was run, and the cooling system was replaced. The same was done on another device with the original system for reference.
The game ran for half an hour, making the device work at its maximum for all that time. The mobile with Loop LiquidCool technology managed to keep the processor 8.6 °C lower than the original version.
This means that it is a very promising technology and that it will bring a good amount of benefits. Especially for those people who love to play with the mobile.
We have been waiting for something like this for a while, and very soon it will become a reality.
