The future manager of the electric models will be the subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited. The underlying capital is 7 billion rupees, compared to 83 million euros.

The organization is chaired 100% by Tata Motors, according to data distributed by Indiacarnews.

Tata introduces India's highest rated electric vehicle, the Nexon EV. The electric SUV, which is only 3.99 meters long, is somewhat longer than a Dacia Spring (3.73 meters) and slightly more limited than a DS 3 Crossback E-Tense (4.12 meters), although with 1, 60 meters is higher than both.

The technical premise of the Nexon is the basis for the Tata Indica, a remarkable city car in Europe.

The Nexon has been available as a gasoline and diesel model since around 2017, with the electric variant added in 2020. This vehicle includes a 96 kW (129 PS) engine and a 30 kWh battery.

Tigor EV was unveiled by Tata, an additional 3.99 meters in length, in late spring. This small city vehicle has a 55 kW (74 hp) engine; the 26 kWh battery provides a range of 306 kilometers.

The Altroz variant, the Altroz EV and the Punch EV, two other electric models, will be presented soon.

Similar in length to the Nexon and Tigor of 3.99 meters, the Altroz was introduced in 2020 as a small, hatchback utility car.

There is still no data on the starting system, however it is said that the maximum mileage will be between 250 and 300 kilometers.

Lastly, the Tata Punch is an SUV that is only 3.83 meters long, yet at 1.62 meters it is significantly taller than the Nexon.

Until now, we only know of the presence of a fuel adaptation, however the electric variant will be presented in 2022.

These four starting electric models are the "green" spearhead of the Indian car monster which, by 2026, expects to have 10 electric vehicles in total.

It is not known for sure if any of them will reach Europe or America, where it could very well be, in terms of value, a true adversary of the Dacia Spring, for example.
